40% – Result from the completed selection competition
60% – Selection Committee assessment
FIS team size limit
FIS limits each nation to 36 snowboard athletes (max. 20 per gender), plus reigning World Champions in the events they won. If this limit requires ranking athletes across disciplines, the fourth-ranked athlete in each discipline and gender will be compared using a cross-discipline ranking of the athletes’ best two (2) field placings at a World Cup or higher event during the 2026-27 season, as of February 22, 2027, when the final eligible competition concludes. If needed to break a tie, the same process is used, continuing to a third event, and so on, until the tie is broken.
